Your views, thoughts or simply opinions. The Economy is not well (understatement). I know there are some here that will try to link the country they are residing in as problems of the USA. Sorry the USA cannot be responsible for 100% of the problems in the world nor should they be expected to help repair all problems.

French First Lady Brigitte Macron has filed a major defamation lawsuit against American right-wing commentator Candace Owens over Owens’ repeated claims that Brigitte Macron is secretly a man.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. by the law firm Clare Locke, states that the Macrons attempted multiple times to engage Owens in dialogue and sent an official letter demanding retraction. Owens allegedly mocked the letter and continued making the claims to both U.S. and international audiences, which the lawsuit argues harmed the Macrons’ reputation worldwide.

The complaint describes Owens as deliberately dissecting the Macrons’ appearance, marriage, friends, family, and personal history to create a grotesque narrative that fueled relentless global bullying. It claims Owens knowingly spread falsehoods for personal fame and profit, particularly after leaving The Daily Wire and promoting her independent podcast. Owens’ large social media following — 6.9 million on X and 4.47 million on YouTube — amplified the harm.

The suit meticulously lists Owens’ statements, documents the Macrons’ attempts to stop them, and outlines the resulting damages, including harassment, public degradation, and harm to their standing as world leaders. It also highlights Owens’ personal financial gain from spreading the falsehoods, a key factor in defamation cases.

The case is being handled by Clare Locke, the same firm that secured the $800 million Dominion defamation settlement against Fox News. The Macrons themselves have previously won defamation suits, making them formidable plaintiffs in this case.

Good luck, Candace, you're going to need it.

Here’s the latest on Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” and what it means for Medicare:

"Automatic 4% annual Medicare cuts starting in 2026 — driven by the statutory “PAYGO” rule, which enforces across-the-board reductions in response to the massive deficit increase.

Roughly $490 billion–$500 billion in cuts over the 2026–2034 period to Medicare spending.

The House Budget Committee also notes up to $535 billion in cumulative Medicare cuts during 2026–2034 ($45 billion in 2026 rising to $75 billion in 2034)"

The "massive deficit increase" is because of the big tax-cuts for the wealthy.
All the cuts are delayed, so you won't notice much, until Democrats are back in office.
Then Republicans can blame Democrats for your complete collapse of Medicare.

Exactly how they blamed Democrats for the high inflation that Trump caused by adding $8 trillion to your debt, which also all ended up in the pockets of the wealthy, eventually.

[When you pay companies to keep paying wages, that's a handout to the employers, not
the employees. When you pay people to be able to afford food and rent, that's a handout
to supermarkets and landlords, not to people. I remind you that it was a GLOBAL crisis
and that it's not an option to leave most working people without income, food and housing.
That would be a complete collapse of the country. You can chose to put that bill on the wealthy, or you can chose to compensate all the employers, supermarkets and landlords with tax-dollars. Trump of course chose the latter and that resulted in high inflation, which mostly hurt the working class. The working class is also the main tax-payer, so you're paying for it TWICE, to compensate for the debt. And now the working class is getting fucked over a THIRD time, because Trump promised the wealthy people more massive
tax-cults, so they would help him win/steal the election, which YOU have to pay for.]

Sounds like a big beautiful bill to me
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 02,Jul,25 07:02 other posts
If you love getting screwed over, over and over, so Trump can repay the wealthy
for his win/steal. Trump only wanted to be president, so he could get out of jail
and continue enriching themself, on the tax-payer's credit.

Why does that look beautiful to you? YOU won't ever see a cent of those cuts.
It's literally socialism for the wealthy, reverse-RobinHood. You ain't wealthy!
You might be richer than most of your friends here, but this will hurt you too.

It's all worth it for you, as long as he hurts the brown people, isn't it?

where would i get the numbers genius? we couldn't even get social security and medicare to investigate the so called foot surgery on my grandmother ,they claimed they didn't have the staffing to investigate it.
we also couldn't get any help to deal with the physical abuse she suffered by the staff, we would report it and it went unchecked.

damn cat, my grandmother was laying in a bed, we told the nurse the nails needing trimming, the nurse is fully capable of doing it and i saw her doing others. but they went untrimmed for a long time. then a bill showed up for medicare for 1500 dollars for a doctor to do foot surgery, trimming the nails. 1500 dollars fraud in 1 case, and later a friend worked at the place and lost their job because they would not sign off on 12 jobs costing the same 1500.
it is fraud, now, take your brain and use it, if the nursing homes are leaving people needing trimmed nails ,that is abuse, criminal. then a nurse or supervisor signs off for a dr to do foot surgery, which he never did, that is fraud. the nurses trimmed the nails and got kick backs for signing the papers. this i know and it was all presented to medicare in dc, the reply was, " we don't have the staffing to enforce minor infractions. " i would send you pics of the paper work but it is locked in the safe and it would exspose to much private info.

How did I know you'd find a relative or friend to show me how"wrong" I was. What you don't seem to realize that there's a damn good reason to fix the problems but not to do away with a program that helps so many people.
You want to trade stories? My daughter's daughter, my first grandchild, is totally disabled. She needs constant care. She gets food through a tube in her stomach. As you can imagine, it has to be liquid AND have the whole nutritional value of regular people food. This formula comes from Germany. It costs $10,000/month. The special wheel chair she needs to support her spine cost over $5000 . The nurses and care tackers have to be paid at regular rates for specialized nurses. I don't even know how much that is. Her Dad couldn't take it and blew his brains out when she was 9. She turned 29 last July 1. Iv it wasn't for Medicaid she would be dead. So, Phart, lets compare notes.

you and annass are always denying anything fraudulent happens with government programs, i just showed you a good example of what does happen.
more scrutiny when it comes to doling out taxpayer money is what is needed.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 13,Jul,25 06:37 other posts
Are we talking about ANYTHING fraudulent? I'm not denying that.
It's just not the billions that you say it is.
And Elon Musk and his gang haven't found ANY real fraud.
Where are all the lawsuits then, when he found ALL that fraud?

Your country already has audits of all your government agencies. They always find SOME waste, fraud and abuse, but where Elon was looking, those are some of the cleanest agencies you have.

In November 2022, the DoD failed its FIFTH consecutive audit, reportedly unable to account for 61% of its assets—amounting to roughly $2.1 trillion out of a $3.5 trillion total asset base.

It is 100% clear that there IS a lot of unaccounted money in your Department of Defense. Did Elon go there?
No, of course not, because Elon himself gets lots of money from the Department of Defense and he doesn't want any investigation on how he's spending that money.

Your social security system was audited in 2022 too:

SSA Financial Audits: “Unmodified Opinion”
The FY 2022 Agency Financial Report (AFR) marked the SSA’s 36th year producing audited financial statements and the 29th consecutive year receiving an unmodified opinion (meaning “clean” audit)

For Old‑Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance (OASDI) from FY 2015–2022, only 0.84% of total benefit payments were improper, though this still amounted to $71.8 billion.
How much are they cutting Social Security?

A 2021 SSA OASDI accuracy review found:
99.3% case accuracy for overpayments, and
98.3% case accuracy for underpayments.

Dollar accuracy rates were similarly high: 99.4% for overpayments and 98.5% for underpayments.

Administrative costs in 2023 were about 0.5% of total benefits paid (roughly $7.2 billion expense against $1.38 trillion payout)

Related to Medicaid and Medicare.
Medicaid: ~$81 billion in improper payments
Medicare: ~$31.7 billion in improper payments
How much are they cutting again?

When you want to make systems more efficient, that takes a lot of effort.
You cannot just CUT waste fraud and abuse. That's primitive thinking.

If there is so much fraud in the system, where are all the prosecutions
and convictions? Do they let all those fraudsters just walk away?
By phart [Ignore] 22,Jul,25 07:07 other posts
yep, the democrats have
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 22,Jul,25 08:42 other posts
Just claims, no evidence. The Democrats are not in control right now.
Why is your administration not providing any evidence of fraud?
I've only seen some records that Elon posted, which were debunked in a day.
It only shows that Elon criminally intercepted contract approved payments.
He should be indicted for that, but of course he is protected.
The ones who protect Elon have all the reason to prosecute the fraudsters.
They fact that they are not doing that shows that it's ALL a lie.

ChatGPT: "Did DOGE find actual fraud, that is now getting indicted?"

🚨 Short Answer
No, as of now, DOGE has not uncovered documented fraud that resulted in criminal indictments. Despite its bold claims, investigative reporting and expert analysis suggest no verified cases where DOGE’s actions led to charges.

🗂️ What DOGE Claimed
DOGE promoted findings of “billions” in fraud, waste, and abuse, targeting government programs like Social Security, Medicaid, and IRS spending.

Their website tracked substantial savings—though many were later corrected or removed after journalists flagged errors.

DOGE also initiated an investigation into the SEC, calling for public input on alleged misconduct in the regulatory body.

🔍 Independent Reviews & Critiques
Independent audits have found that many DOGE “savings” claims were either grossly exaggerated or incorrect (like an $8 billion claim later shown to be $8 million).

Former DOGE employees and critics have stated publicly that true fraud investigations were rare or non-existent. One engineer noted most issues stemmed from software errors, not fraud.

Multiple Reddit threads feature users stating:
“DOGE has found ZERO documented cases of fraud. None.”
“Despite the hype, DOGE hasn't found a shred of fraud.”

⚖️ Legal & Governmental Actions
In March 2025, Pam Bondi (former Florida AG) announced that the DOJ would criminally investigate DOGE’s claims of fraud. However, no indictments or formal prosecutions have been reported.

Meanwhile, federal judges have blocked DOGE from accessing Social Security and Treasury systems, labeling its approach a “fishing expedition” and questioning the lack of supporting evidence.

đź“‹ Summary Table
Aspect What Actually Happened
DOGE claimed to find fraud Yes — but evidence was not verified
Reported “savings” and discrepancies Many claims retracted or significantly reduced
Classified cases referred to DOJ Some referrals (e.g. voter-roll matches), but no known indictments
Independent auditor stance Most findings considered debatable or exaggerated
Lawsuits / court pushback Judges blocked access; critics called DOGE’s methodology flawed

âś… Final Note
To date, DOGE has not produced any verified cases of fraud that have led to criminal charges. The majority of its high-profile claims have been debunked or discredited after scrutiny, and there are no confirmed indictments based on DOGE’s investigations.

Debunked by ChatGPT:

This is a **promotional summary** of the *One Big Beautiful Bill Act* from a pro-Trump or Republican-aligned source. It emphasizes the **benefits** and **talking points**, often using **best-case projections**, while omitting or minimizing the bill’s **cuts to social safety nets, healthcare, and clean energy**.

Here’s a **breakdown** of what’s **fact**, what’s **spin**, and what’s **missing**, based on independent analysis:

🔍 **CLAIMS VS. REALITY**

🧾 CLAIM: *"Wages up by $5,500–$10,500; Take-home pay up by $7,200–$12,200"*

**Spin**: These are *projections* based on tax cuts and hypothetical wage growth. They **don’t reflect guaranteed raises**—they assume trickle-down from corporate tax incentives.
* **Reality**: Independent estimates show modest average tax savings for middle-income earners (~$1,200–$1,800/year), while **high earners** gain much more.
* **Meanwhile**, these savings are offset by **cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, and public services** many families rely on.

đź’° CLAIM: *"No Taxes on Tips and Overtime"*

**Partially True**: The bill **exempts tip income and overtime wages** from federal income tax—but **not from payroll taxes** (like Social Security/Medicare).
**Benefit**: Good for tipped workers and those in gig/hospitality industries.
**Caveat**: Critics argue this creates complexity and encourages underreporting.

🧒 CLAIM: *"Expands Child Tax Credit; Supports 40M Families"*

**Half-true**: The Child Tax Credit is increased and made permanent, but **not fully refundable** like in the 2021 American Rescue Plan.
* So **poorer families may get less or nothing** unless they have taxable income—unlike under Biden’s expanded version.

🧺 CLAIM: *"Slashes Deficits by $2 Trillion"*

**False by most neutral estimates**: The bill **increases** the federal deficit by **$3.4 trillion over 10 years**, mainly due to permanent tax cuts for individuals and corporations ([CRFB](https://www.crfb.org/)).

🌽 CLAIM: *"Supports Farmers; Raises Death Tax Exemption"*

**True, but skewed**: Increasing the estate tax exemption helps **very wealthy landowners**, not most small farmers (only about 0.1% of estates were taxed under prior law).
* Crop insurance/rural support may help, but **Medicaid cuts hurt rural hospitals and elderly care**—a major concern in red states.

🔨 CLAIM: *"Massive manufacturing and small business tax relief"*

**Partly true**: The bill includes **expensing for capital investment**, lower corporate tax rates, and extended Opportunity Zones.
* Critics argue this **overwhelmingly favors large firms and developers**, with little oversight.

🌎 CLAIM: *"Ends Green New Scam; unleashes energy"*

**Very partisan framing**. The bill:

* **Repeals EV tax credits**
* Cuts **wind, solar, energy efficiency credits**
* **Prioritizes oil, gas, coal**, and **nuclear** production
* It **rescinds climate spending** from the Inflation Reduction Act, which was helping transition rural areas to cheaper renewable sources.

⚔️ CLAIM: *"Boosts ICE, Border Patrol, Coast Guard"*

**True**: Massive new funding—$10,000 annual bonuses, **10,000 new ICE agents**, and finishing the wall.
* This is a **central part** of the bill and appeals to immigration hawks.
* Critics argue it's **militarized overreach**, with limited effect on fentanyl (which mostly comes through legal ports).

🚨 WHAT’S MISSING

1. **Cuts to Medicaid & SNAP**

* Over **$1 trillion** in combined cuts.
* Work requirements, reduced eligibility, and state funding burdens.

2. **Defunding of Clean Energy and Climate Programs**

* Bill rolls back **Biden-era climate legislation**.
* Long-term cost: delays clean energy transition, likely increases emissions.

3. **Impact on Poor & Disabled Americans**

* Work requirements could push **millions off aid**, including seniors, disabled, and caregivers.
* **Rural hospitals**, especially in red states, face funding losses.

4. **Long-term Cost to Deficit**

* While marketed as “fiscally sane,” independent economists say the bill will **add over $3 trillion** to the national debt.

🧾 FINAL VERDICT

**Category** | **Verdict** -------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
**Tax Cuts for Workers** | Mostly true, but benefits **skew to upper-middle class and wealthy** |
**Support for Families** | Partly true, but **excludes lowest-income households** |
**Rural and Farm Support** | Partly true, **estate tax changes help rich farmers more than small ones** |
**Border & Military** | Accurate—**major investments and personnel increases** |
**Fiscal Responsibility** | **False** — deficit likely to rise significantly |
**Energy & Environment** | **True but partisan framing** — major rollback of clean-energy investments |

-------------------------------------------------------------
It's all skewed to the middle class and the wealthy.
Did they have problems paying for groceries?

There are already clinics shutting down, because of Trump's cuts.
You cannot cut SNAP, without it hurting the poor.

It's bullshit propaganda that all those programs are bloated and fraudulent.
You think feeding the poor is waste by definition, but those programs are doing
what they are designed to do, pretty efficiently, and people rely on them.

What they gain with no taxes on tips, they will loose in many different other ways.

About 60-72% of the total tax relief is going to the top 20%.
The top 5% gets about 45% of the total tax relief.
The top 1% will get about $600 billion in tax-cuts over a decade.
It's impossible to do that, without it affecting the rest of you.

Since most of the tax-cuts are unaccounted for, it adds $3-4 billion to the debt by 2034.
That will increase inflation for those people who already cannot afford groceries.
Trump is doing what you accused Biden of doing AGAIN.

And he isn't doing it with investments into your economy, like Biden did,
he is doing it to reward his wealthy donors.

Side with the loons, then live with the loons.

What are those American values, you are talking about?

And what catastrophes are you referring to?

Ghislaine Maxwell is pressuring Trump to give her a new trial.
She has lots of dirt on Trump, so she's blackmailing him.

Epstein and Maxwell had a MULTI-BILLION dollar enterprise
pimping out under@ge prostitute/sex-slaves to billionaires.
Epstein and Trump have been best friends for years.
There is lots of public evidence and testimonials against Trump.
Not just Trump, but also against his first wife Ivana.
One of Epstein's victims, Maria Farmer, claims that Ivana Trump
was also good friends with Ghislaine Maxwell, and she witnessed them
hunting for new victims for Epstein.
They would cruise schools together, for pretty young girls in school uniforms.

Trump is obviously burying the Epstein files, because there's at the very least
the testimony of Maria Farmer, pictures from Trump and half naked girls from
Epstein's vault, but likely even financial records linking Trump and Epstein.

Trump has been a filthy sexual predator all his life and you know it.
At least you deny it. How evil would your side be, if you just accepted it?

even you are smart enough to realize if you took a moment to do so, that photos can be altered now with great realism.
i would be hard pressed to trust a photo that suddenly appeared out of nowwhere now.

Sure, deny that the photos are real, because AI is a thing.
The age of photos can be quite accurately be determined.
There are still ways to show new fake photos to be fake. They are not perfect.
That you fall for the clearest fakes doesn't make them undetectable.

If those photos appeared, they would come from the possession of the FBI,
because they confiscated all evidence from Epstein.
Besides, there is a shit-ton more evidence on Trump's friendship with Epstein
than just photos. Ever heard of his little black address book?

Donald Trump’s Name Appears
His name is listed along with multiple phone numbers, including:
- His business numbers
- Mar-a-Lago
- Trump Organization contacts
- Trump Family and Associates Listed
Other Trump-linked names appear:
- Ivana Trump
- Ivanka Trump
- Eric Trump
- Alan Garten (Trump Org. lawyer)
Trump’s staff and Mar-a-Lago contacts are also included.

There is also evidence linking Epstein to Mar-a-Lago.
Virginia Giuffre (then Virginia Roberts) has testified in multiple legal proceedings that
she was working as a spa attendant at Mar-a-Lago when she met Ghislaine Maxwell.

If Trump wasn't worried about Ghislaine Maxwell having dirt, she couldn't use it.
And if the case wasn't damning for Trump, he wouldn't have it buried like this.
He is also desperately trying to distract everyone from it.

In any case, at least you deny it. I don't know if you cannot admit it to yourself
or you just don't want to admit it to others, but it would be worse if you owned it
and then STILL supported the guy.
