I do know workers comp will fuss and argue over 50 bucks for a mri and when i needed 1 20 years ago it was held up for 2 weeks till they found the cheapest 1, turned out the dr couldn't use the info as it was blurry. waste!

In my country we have a massive housing crisis too. It was cause by right-wing policies. They abolished public rental associations and turned them into renting corporations. The result was a massive increase in rent prices and problems with bad maintenance, high heating costs and all kinds of exploitation of renters.
Our right-wingers let in foreign investing companies and gave land speculators room to profit from blowing up land prices. That raised the prices of homes to make it unaffordable for most people. I literally pay more property taxes, because a foreign investor bought a house in my row, and outbid by $60,000. Now an expat is living there.
