I have been here a while now and I knew common sense was pretty much a barren thing to find here, apart from a few I have seen here who actually exhibit it.
But others here have just really made me think wow that person has something wrong with them.
I’m of the opinion that that the older I get, the more I can relate to those old men I saw living alone on old midwestern farms or out in the woods in a small house, with just a dog or two for companionship, back when I was a kid in the late 60s and early 70s.
“Each to his own” is usually a kind parting statement more akin to saying “live and let live” but nicer then saying “we agree to disagree” the speaker has made up their mind this conversation is not worth pursuing nothing aggressive about that. Its when the other participant doesn’t take that “hint” and keeps talking that problems arise.
I like marshmallows cooked over an open fire....they are so yummy when they get really brown, swell up and get really squishy inside! Who needs a graham cracker or chocolate?
2nice's comment has everything to do with the topic because it has nothing to do with the topic. Didn't it make you wonder why he said what he said? SEE! My point exactly!
Yep. Some people get off on being assholes. Not shocking an exhibitionist site with ratings and competitions would attract the narcissists. They're just idiotic children, let them try to ruin you. They never win. Super predictable.
Maybe I haven't grasped the thought you're trying to convey. Are you speaking of common sense that relates to pictures posted? Comments left on pictures? Topics opened in the discussion forum? Conversations in chat? *OR* (e) all of the above?
I understand them now.
I think of members that never were and ask 'why not?'
Do you like S'more’s?
I have a fire pit..
And marshmallows are tasty and stuff..
