I owned a 1962 Olds "Super 88" Holiday Sedan, White over Red Metallic (no Clear-Coat back then), with every option GM offered except cruise control. LIST price $3,295.00 (window sticker). This car had a V-8 440cuin GM "Rocket" engine made by an Olds engine plant. This MF would run like you would not believe ! ! !
Yes, I love old cars too.....wish I still had this Olds S-88.
BTW, Olds used to have a real simple trim option: They made the Olds 76, Olds 88, Olds Super 88, and Olds 98. The 98 was sort of like a Cadillac....
had a 65 goat back in 1971 when I was in highschool the 389 had a spun bearing in it and so I used my brothers L88 427 out of his wrecked vette, went very fast with the 456 gearing, back in the day you could still find them with absolutely zero rust for little money, like they say I should have not let it get away hang on to it **** as you won't miss it until it is gone, enjoy.
That is fuk'n AWESOME, bro and bro-ess!!! Please tell me you call it The Shadow!!! (only five smiles, how are we meant to get toe-up on beverages?!). Ahhhh, we go drivves its whens we wakes ups
What's up? 5 comments and not 1 [HOT] vote? Are they hoping to see you and your Queen getting busy in the back seat?
